Teamspaces & sharing

Share a page — and everything beneath it — with your team, while the rest of your workspace stays private.

How sharing works

Pages are private to you by default. Sharing a page into a teamspace shares that page and every page nested under it. That is the whole model: organise what you want shared under one page, and share that page.

Creating a teamspace

In the sidebar, use New teamspace and give it a name. Teamspaces are created by admins. Once it exists, share a page into it and everyone in that teamspace can see the page and its subtree.

Inviting people

Go to Settings → Team and invite by email. They receive a link to set a password and join. You choose whether someone joins as a member or an admin.

MemberReads and writes pages shared with their teamspaces. Keeps their own private pages.
AdminEverything a member can do, plus managing the team, teamspaces, billing and SSO.

What stays private

Anything you have not shared. Private pages are invisible to everyone else, including admins, and including any AI assistant connected with an API token — a token can only ever see what its owner can see.

Single sign-on

On paid plans you can connect your identity provider with SAML 2.0, and provision people automatically with SCIM. Both are configured in Settings → SSO.
