MCP for team notes
FolianX MCP access lets a compatible external AI assistant search and read your notes through a revocable API token. Pro is read-only; Enterprise can also create and update pages. FolianX supplies the knowledge connection, not the AI model.
Available MCP tools
Once connected, an assistant can call FolianX only when a task needs your notes. The server applies the token scope and the owner's normal page permissions to every request.

The connection
FolianX implements the Model Context Protocol, an open protocol for connecting AI applications to external systems. Create one token per tool, start read-only, and revoke it immediately if a device or integration should lose access.
Protocol reference: official MCP documentation.
No note is sent to an AI provider until the external assistant requests it.
After retrieval, the assistant provider processes that content under its own terms. Review that provider before connecting it to sensitive knowledge.
How it connects
Name the integration and choose read-only or read-write access. Pro supports read-only; Enterprise supports both.
Install the FolianX connector and add the endpoint and one-time token to an MCP-capable assistant.
The assistant calls search and page tools when needed. FolianX refuses pages the token owner cannot normally open.
A high-quality source
FolianX exposes pages, headings, links, backlinks, tags and workspace context through specific tools. The assistant selects what it needs for the request instead of requiring a user to paste an entire workspace into a prompt.

Boundaries to understand
You need an MCP-capable assistant and remain responsible for that provider and its usage costs.
A token follows everything its owner can see. Read/write scope is explicit, but teamspace-only token scope is not available today.
Revoking FolianX stops future requests. It cannot delete content an external provider has already received or retained.
Start FolianX free. MCP access is available on Pro for reading and Enterprise for reading and writing.
